The Genie is finally out of the bottle. That's right Aladdin 4D now has it's own virtual character as part of a new branding campain. The problem is that she does not yet have a name. We are asking for help from the Aladdin 4D community to name her. There is $100 in it for you as well as a lifetime of free A4D upgrades on all platforms. In addition you will get your name in the Aladdin 4D credits. How about it everyone? Submit your suggestions to the Aladdin 4D forums please and or e-mail.

How about "Ambrosia"? Starts with an "A" like Alladin 4D.
In ancient Greek mythology, ambrosia is sometimes the food, sometimes the drink, of the gods, often depicted as conferring ageless immortality upon whomever consumes it. It was brought to the gods in Olympus by doves (Odyssey xii.62), so may have been thought of in the Homeric tradition as a kind of divine exhalation of the Earth.
Ambrosia is very closely related to the gods' other form of sustenance, nectar. The two terms may not have originally been distinguished; though in Homer's poems nectar is the drink and ambrosia the food of the gods; it was with ambrosia Hera "cleansed all defilement from her lovely flesh" (Iliad xiv.170), and with ambrosia Athena prepared Penelope in her sleep (Odyssey xviii.188ff) so that when she appeared for the final time before her suitors, the effect of the years had been stripped away and they were inflamed at the sight of her. On the other hand, in Alcman, nectar is the food, and in Sappho (fragment 45) and Anaxandrides, ambrosia is the drink. When a character in Aristophanes' Knights says, "I dreamed the goddess poured ambrosia over your head— out of a ladle", the homely and realistic ladle brings the ineffable moment to ground with a thump.
Both nectar and ambrosia are fragrant, and may be used as perfume: in Odyssey (iv.444-46) Menelaus and his men are disguised as seals in untanned seal skins, "and the deadly smell of the seal skins vexed us sore; but the goddess saved us; she brought ambrosia and put it under our nostrils." Homer speaks of ambrosial raiment, ambrosial locks of hair, even the gods' ambrosial sandals.
Among later writers, ambrosia has been so often used with generic meanings of "delightful liquid" that such late writers as Athenaeus, Paulus and Dioscurides employ it as a technical terms in contexts of cookery, medicine and botany.
Additionally, you could draw her offering, or serving food or drink to tie in the history of the name.
What do you think?
Now that Aladdin 4D is multi-platform enabled you may not want to identify the product in any way that keeps the "Amiga" link alive, but if you aren't concerned about an Amiga connection, my first suggestion of "Ambrosia" could be altered to "Amibrosia"
Just another thought!
"djinni" may be a possibility.
or some easier to spell variation.
Like "Gennie".
I'm keeping away from any referance to the disney movie.
btw, the drawing is quite well done.
Tamira or Mira.

Illumina or Illuminatia
I like the name "Jasmina" or "Jasmin".
I like the name "Jasmina" or "Jasmin"
What about something that sounds similarly to "genie"? Jena? Geena? Gina?
Her name is "Amina"
Hmm or maybe Amorina, Adina, Annia.
Niddala
Aladdin to read of right to left
sound good
Aladdin -> Alia
Aladdin -> Alicia
or
Aladdin ->
Gina!
Dina sounds good for me.
How about the most obvious? ALADDINA it´s the femalized name of ALADDIN and start and ends with A like AMIGA ;-)
I would suggest either
AmiGenios or Amy Genios
as potential options. It would both give a nod to Amiga and keep the Genie theme in the name.

I wished to keep the Amiga connection in a name chosen here as well, but Aladdin is no longer Amiga-specific.
How about Afsoon (pronounced 'aef-soon, with the A pronounced as in names such as Amir) and it starts with A, for both Aladdin as well as the Amiga.
Afsoon is another Persian word for 'magic' but there are also other Persian words such as 'afsaneh' meaning 'legend' that are related closely to 'afsoon' ... Afsaneh is also used as a female name in Persian.
Let's not forget that Aladdin, is originally a tale related to the Middle East and at least partly related to Persia.
In many cultures the legend is already considered a Persian one, but the word Aladdin is a mixture of Arabic and Persian and the story's protagonist, Aladdin, travels through different lands.
The tale however, is part of the so many other tales in the One Thousand and One Nights and in the book, the stories are told to the king by a beautiful girl by the name of Shahrzad, or Schehrazad, or ... (There are different English spellings for that word.)
How about Shahrzad then? In Persian, Shahr, means 'city' or a 'city-state' actually, and 'zad' means 'born' thus Shahrzad = born of the city, referring mostly to a king or queen figure actually. If the Shcehrazad, or Chehrehazad version is used, then it means like 'free face' trans-literally, with "chehreh", meaning face, and "azad" means free.
(This second meaning also fits the character in the actual story of One Thousand and One Nights in some ways: the girl, Shahrzad or Chehrazad, is a free thinking and very clever girl, so wise as well as brave in fact, that she volunteers to replace her own sister's place in the king's bedroom and keep telling entertaining stories for the king for so many nights [hence the name of the book] so he would go to sleep eventually and forget to order the killing of his wife, Shahrzad's sister in the early morning ...)
Lilith could also be another choice with its Eastern mythological aspect probably bearing some connections to the Aladdin ...
I also liked suggestions by others along the lines Genie, Gina, Genya, and so forth ... (Jane works too of course but the name was used for exactly a similar character in a tv series of the `60s ...)
Pari, or Pary, Persian for 'fairy' and a female name used in Iran and some other places, might also sound like a good choice. (Par = feather in Persian; Pary, used for both men and women in ancient Persian tales, usually combined with some female or male human name, relates to the feathered wings supposedly fairies had / or 'have' if you like ... ;})
A genie of the lamp however, is not exactly a fairy to be exact though, agreed! :)
(In fact, in Persian mythology, the two creatures appear as separate entities, not very closely related to each other necessarily but the two words are used alongside each other 'as a figure of speech' in the Iranian populace's interactions quite often as in "gen o pary" referring to old tales related to "genies `n fairies" ...)
I'm not against name suggestions to do with the Greek mythology (I'm a fan myself!) but the tale of Aladdin has little connection with Greek myths, if I'm not mistaken.
Of course, no one can say we have to stick with the Persian name idea and any name from any culture's mythology or legends can be used.
I wish I could suggest some Chinese or other interesting Oriental names. After all, there are similar legends in their culture too but my knowledge of that culture is very much limited unfortunately.
Don't have access to the actual book of One Thousand and One Nights right now but there are plenty of curious or funny as well as beautiful and romantic names to be found there.
To sum it all up and end this post:
Afsoon (magical spell)
Afsan or Afsaneh (legend, usually magical)
Pari or Pary (fairy)
Shahrzad or Schehrazad (tales teller heroin figure)
Lilith (Adam's first wife according to Talmut and other ancient resources)
